OpenRosa Meeting 16 June 2008, Durban PDF Print E-mail

The OpenROSA consortium members will be meeting in Durban on 16 June 2008. The gathering will be a satelite meeting to the HIS / OpenMRS / OSHCA Africa Conference that is taking place from the 17-20 of June. The meeting will cover the status of various OpenROSA development projects as well as the continued organisation of the new consortiuom.

OpenROSA Goes Live PDF Print E-mail
Today the OpenROSA website is opened up to the community. Its quite fitting that the site is built using open source tools and systems such as Joomla! for its CMS and GIMP for the image editing aspect of the site design.
 
OpenROSA Nairobi Meeting PDF Print E-mail
Dec 3, 2007: OpenROSA meets in Nairobi as part of the WHO Global Health Data Exchange Standards Workshop.  First working demo of JavaROSA is shown, in which a form designed in EpiHandy is loaded to a phone running JavaROSA which sends the data collected over GPRS to an OpenMRS server.
 
OpenROSA Meets for the First Time PDF Print E-mail
Sept 26, 2007: OpenROSA meets for the first time in MIT.  The attending organizations agree to form the proposed consortium, amidst much enthusiasm. We look forward to great enthusiasm and progress from the group.
